Baldi Hot Springs – Day Pass

Baldi Hot Springs is the largest thermal water complex in the Arenal region — 25 mineral pools fed by natural volcanic springs, ranging from cool refreshing tanks at around 20 °C to intense therapeutic pools above 62 °C, laid out across tropical gardens on the flank of Arenal Volcano. Your day pass gives you full unrestricted access to the pools, waterfalls, thermal slides and swim-up bars from opening to close, so you can pace the day exactly how you want it: sunset soak, post-hike recovery, or a full lazy afternoon between temperatures. Four pass options are available — Hot Springs only, Hot Springs + Lunch, Hot Springs + Dinner, or Hot Springs + Lunch + Dinner (all buffets, with vegetarian options and international dishes) — so you can build the day around your itinerary. The complex is open daily from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and nighttime soaking with volcano views is one of the signature La Fortuna experiences. Lockers, towels for rent, spa services and family-friendly zones with dedicated shallow pools are available on site. Ideal for travelers arriving after a long transfer, families with kids, couples on honeymoon, and anyone recovering from adventure days — a genuinely restorative anchor to the Arenal itinerary.

72+ hours before tour → 100% refund to original payment method, minus 5% administrative fee
48–72 hours before tour → 50% refund to original payment method (minus 5% admin fee) OR free reschedule (subject to availability)
24–48 hours before tour → 25% refund to original payment method (minus 5% admin fee) OR reschedule with 25% rebooking fee (subject to availability)
Less than 24 hours before tour → No refund, but reschedule possible with 50% rebooking fee
No-shows are non-refundable and non-rescheduleable
The 5% administrative fee is non-refundable and covers non-recoverable bank/processor fees (Stripe and PayPal retain ~3% on every transaction even when refunded) plus the cost of processing the cancellation. It is waived when we cancel for operational or weather reasons.
All refunds are issued to the original payment method (card, PayPal, or bank transfer used at booking). We do not issue cash refunds under any circumstance.
