El Castillo Side by Side – Lake Arenal Off-Road
El Castillo Side by Side is Outback's new 3-hour off-road route in El Castillo, by Lake Arenal and about 30 minutes from La Fortuna. One vehicle carries 1 to 6 guests along lake and forest trails with Arenal Volcano scenery. It suits multigenerational families: no age limit, babies in an approved child seat, and older adults travel seated without driving an ATV. The price is per vehicle, not per person; the Private option keeps the guide for your group only. Sold on request: we confirm availability with Outback Adventures before any payment. Transport from La Fortuna and surroundings can be arranged and is quoted separately. Conditions: the driver must hold a valid driving license; maximum 550 lb (250 kg) per vehicle; not suitable for pregnant travelers, people with heart conditions, surgery in the last 6 months, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
