The experience
Monteverde Night Walk – Cloud Forest
Once the sun sets, a completely different forest wakes up. With a flashlight, a spotting scope and an expert bilingual naturalist, you walk the trails of a Monteverde reserve looking for nocturnal life: kinkajous, sloths, colourful frogs, insects, snakes and roosting birds. It is an easy-paced, family-friendly Monteverde classic that works either as a small shared group on a fixed departure, or as a private walk when you travel with small children, a multigenerational family, or you want to stop for photography at your own rhythm. Reserve entrance is included. Transport to the meeting point is never included in the tour price — we quote it separately by hotel and zone. Sightings are wild and never guaranteed.

Cancellation & changes
- 36+ hours before tour → 100% refund to original payment method, minus 5% transaction fee
- Less than 36 hours before tour → 50% refund to original payment method, minus 5% transaction fee (free reschedule may be offered subject to availability)
- No-shows are non-refundable and non-rescheduleable
- The 5% administrative fee is non-refundable and covers non-recoverable bank/processor fees (Stripe and PayPal retain ~3% on every transaction even when refunded) plus the cost of processing the cancellation. It is waived when we cancel for operational or weather reasons.
- All refunds are issued to the original payment method (card, PayPal, or bank transfer used at booking). We do not issue cash refunds under any circumstance.
