Sky Adventures Zipline – Arenal

Sky Adventures operates the only zipline circuit in Costa Rica with unobstructed views of both Arenal Volcano and Lake Arenal — a combination that turns a classic adventure activity into one of the region's signature scenic experiences. Your morning begins with the Sky Tram, an open-air aerial gondola that ascends the mountain through the rainforest canopy for 15 minutes, giving you time to spot toucans, howler monkeys and even sloths in the upper trees. At the summit you reach the iconic "Hand of Arenal" sculpture and viewpoint overlooking the entire lake. From there you fly through a seven-cable zipline system — the longest cable stretches over 750 meters and the highest platform sits 200 meters above the forest floor — at speeds up to 70 km/h, with the volcano's cone as your permanent horizon. The circuit is professionally engineered with double safety systems, and certified bilingual guides run through the technique at a comfortable ground school before you go live. Minimum age is 5 years and there is no upper age limit; body weight limits apply for safety. Includes all safety equipment (harness, helmet, gloves), tram ascent, seven ziplines, tarzan swing, and round-trip transport from La Fortuna hotels on private departures. Total on-site time is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours; runs rain or shine.
