This is the Group Tour for Manuel Antonio National Park Guided Walk: a shared departure, max 10 travelers, min 2 adults, on a fixed schedule and at a per-person rate. You share a VIVO naturalist guide with other travelers looking for the same thing you are — real wildlife, good light and an honest explanation of what you are seeing. Exact capacity depends on the experience. The itinerary, certified guide and safety standards are the same as our Private Tour; what changes is that the departure time is set and the group sets the pace. Transport is never shared: if you add it, it is private door-to-door for your party only.
Manuel Antonio National Park is the smallest and most biodiverse national park in Costa Rica — a compact 16 km² mosaic of primary and secondary tropical rainforest that spills straight onto white-sand Pacific beaches. Our private guided wildlife walk is designed to make the most of that density: with an expert naturalist and a professional spotting scope you can expect three-toed and two-toed sloths in the cecropia trees, white-faced capuchin, mantled howler and Central American squirrel monkeys (the endangered mono titi is a Manuel Antonio specialty), coatis, agoutis, iguanas, basilisks, and a long list of birds — fiery-billed aracari, chestnut-mandibled toucans, trogons, motmots, tanagers and pelicans working the coastline. The 2 to 3-hour walk follows the shaded, mostly flat main trail (Perezoso and Sendero Playa Espadilla Sur), so it suits families, seniors and casual hikers, and finishes at Playa Manuel Antonio for an optional swim. Early-morning entries deliver the highest wildlife activity and cooler temperatures. Included: park ticket, bilingual naturalist guide and scope. a relaxed, photography-friendly way to see Costa Rica's most iconic wildlife park without navigating the queues alone. Transport is not included — we quote it separately by hotel and zone.
