    Day by day

    Day 1 — Welcome to Costa Rica

    San José → La Fortuna

    Your private driver meets you at SJO airport for the scenic drive north to La Fortuna (about 3 hours), with a coffee stop along the way. Check in and enjoy your first evening under Arenal Volcano.

    Day 2 — Volcano & waterfall

    La Fortuna

    Arenal 1968 Volcano Walk across the lava field, then the 500 steps down to La Fortuna Waterfall.

    Day 3 — Wildlife day

    La Fortuna

    Bogarín Trail for sloths in the morning and a Peñas Blancas Safari Float in the afternoon.

    Day 4 — Hot springs & night walk

    La Fortuna

    A slow morning, then an afternoon at Baldi Hot Springs and a guided night walk at Ecocentro Danaus.

    Day 5 — Scenic transfer

    La Fortuna → Monteverde

    Private transfer around Lake Arenal (about 3.5 hours). Cool mountain air on arrival.

    Monteverde

    Selvatura Hanging Bridges with a guided walk, then a family-run coffee, cacao and sugar-cane farm tour.
